Milk; Veg Round-Up; Food Companies - FDA Problems; In-Flight Dining; Farewell

2.0— A generation ago (1993 …maybe two generations ago?), the California Milk Processor Board engaged with an ad agency to come up with an ad campaign to help sell milk. They got celebrities in on the act, and “Got Milk?” became a thing. It’s safe to say that milk has evolved a lot since then. This time the ad campaign comes from plant-based milk brand, Silk, and it has a very familiar look. Round-Up in a Round-Up (again)— Ok, this may seem lazy, but we wanted this to be a meatless post so…  More impossible chicken, more plant-based milk, not-Philly vegan cream cheese, and pancakes. Courtesy of vegnews.com What’s Healthy?— Too much sugar doesn’t seem healthy. Neither does too much salt. The FDA seems aware of this as they’re making moves to update the requirements for foods making the “healthy” claim. Food companies are not happy. What have we been feeding ourselves? Finally— How ‘bout a banana?    …Last Thing—Two stacked NYC slices and a killer soundtrack.  Gone, but never forgotten.
