Elliot is Managing Partner of ThroughCo Communications where he leads the firm’s financial, corporate, transactions and crisis practices, leading programs for Teladoc Health, Canadian Solar, Lightyear Capital, and Rizk Ventures. Throughout his career, Elliot has provided strategic counsel to some of the world’s most notable organizations, ensuring effective communication to investors, the media, employees, policymakers, elected officials, and other critical audiences. His clients have included work for AT&T, Walgreens, American Express, Boone Pickens, Exelon, Viacom, Liberty Media, New York Life and Elliott Management, He is often on the front lines with executive teams and Boards, helping them to manage through complex and difficult situations.

In 1998, Elliot founded Sloane & Company, a strategic communications firm that was awarded with Corporate Agency of the Year in 2015 and Crisis Agency of the Year in both 2010 and 2012. Prior to founding ThroughCo Communications, he was most recently senior advisor to both FTI Consulting Strategic Communications and Rooney Partners.

Katie Russo is a Senior Account Director at ThroughCo Communications where she serves as day-to-day account lead on a number of multifaceted and complex communications and branding engagements, including Mercato, an innovative online marketplace supporting local grocers and Ygrene, a leading financing organization committed to sustainability.   

Prior to joining ThroughCo, Katie served as Chief of Staff for an emerging food delivery/meal kit start-up, Fix.  At Fix, she led and ensured direct and efficient communication between teams and led cross-departmental projects from concept to fruition, including influencer marketing campaigns, inventory management design, and emerging market research. Earlier in her career, Katie spent a decade in the retail industry at Bed, Bath & Beyond, optimizing operations with a focus on regional merchandising and customer engagement. During her time there, she developed highly profitable retail campaigns focused on the kitchenware, home décor, and consumer packaged goods sectors.

Susie is a founding partner of ThroughCo Communications where she leads the firm’s consumer-focused marketing communications engagements, leading programs for Weld North Education, Choice Markets, Teladoc Health among others.

Over the course of her career Susie has cultivated unique expertise of the consumer marketing and entertainment ecosystem. She spent more than 15 years as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Food Network and Cooking Channel, where she was the driving force in all aspects of strategy and marketing for both brands and was the key individual responsible for managing the evolution of Food Network’s brand during a category defining time. She developed fully integrated marketing plans for new business and brand extension priorities, ultimately helping to drive the prime-time ratings within the core demographic to record highs. Susie also served for eight years as a judge on Food Network’s Next Food Network Star.

After Food Network, Susie and fellow ThroughCo partner Gary Nelson launched F&Co, a strategic brand and marketing firm focused primarily on the food and beverage industry. At F&Co, Susie managed integrated programs for Rosa Mexicano, Eat Fix, S’well, among others.

Susie Fogelson

As Vice President at ThroughCo Communications, Katie is responsible for leading integrated brand and media strategic assignments. With deep experience in food and beverage, she has managed client programs at Applebee's, Mercato, S'well, Rosa Mexicano as well as working on campaigns for Ygrene, Workspace Property Trust, among others.

Prior to joining ThroughCo, Katie was VP On/Off Air Media Strategy at Food Network and Cooking Channel for 18 years, where she spearheaded consumer facing messaging across all platforms. This included ensuring brand equity was retained for brand-to-brand partnerships and ad sales integrations. Katie drove the networks prosocial efforts with Share Our Strength, ultimately raising enough money to provide 100 million meals to kids in need.

A graduate of Rutgers University, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology and resides in Jersey City with her adorable goldendoodle, Odie

Gary is a founding partner of ThroughCo Communications where he serves as the creative force in identifying key insights and bringing those to life across the media landscape. As a veteran agency creative, he has applied his laser focus to crafting new category repositioning, brand pivots, communications strategies, and award-winning creative campaigns. His former clients span a variety of sectors including financial services, packaged goods, travel, entertainment, and technology.

At ThroughCo, his work for Weld North Education, Teladoc Health, Zuppler, and Groups360 has served to define core brand messaging utilized by external and internal stakeholders. Prior to ThroughCo, Gary and fellow ThroughCo partner, Susie Fogelson, launched F&Co—a strategic brand and marketing firm focused primarily on the food and beverage industry—where he developed brand and experience strategies for clients including Rosa Mexicano and Fix.

Prior to her work in corporate communications, Nidia worked as a Production Manager in the fashion import industry, liaising with teams, vendors, and clients in both North America and Asia.
