Things We’ve Been Watching— Who knew sweaty line cooks could have so much sex appeal? Hulu, that’s who. Their fictional series, The Bear, has created real-world demand; and Italian Beef sandwiches are selling out all over Chicago (and Brooklyn too). Time to hit up that Goldbelly account… How Hot is it?— Remember last month when it was so hot, the tarmac at London’s Luton airport melted? Well, the continuing extreme heat could create problems for olive oil production in Spain (they’re the largest olive oil producer, accounting for almost half of the world’s supply). The heat, along with extreme drought conditions across the region may cause a drop in production for both Spain and ItalyBreakfast at Cracker Barrel— We’ll argue about anything. Need proof?
