Susie is a Founding Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at ThroughCo Communications, where she leads the firm's strategic communications practice with a focus on financial transactions and brand positioning. With hands-on experience across multiple complex financial communications scenarios—including M&A, crisis management, go-to-market strategies, bankruptcies, and thought leadership—Susie brings a sophisticated approach to positioning brands and companies during critical periods of transition.

Over 25 years in marketing and communications, Susie has worked across diverse business categories including financial services, media and entertainment, food and beverage, commercial real estate, energy, edtech, biotech, and retail. Her B2B and B2C experience spans the full spectrum of business challenges and opportunities.

Susie spent more than 15 years as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Food Network and Cooking Channel, where she was the driving force behind all aspects of strategy and marketing for both brands, cultivating unique expertise in the consumer marketing and entertainment ecosystem. At ThroughCo, she spearheads marketing and partnership programs for clients like Melissa Cookston and provides strategic leadership across the agency's client roster, bringing her deep understanding of brand development and market positioning to companies navigating growth, transformation, and transaction-related communications.
