California did it years ago, so did Chicago; inhumane farming practices are at the root of the issue, though NY duck farmers say those practices have changed. You Don’t Have to Go Home, But— By now it’s likely you’ve heard of ghost kitchens. Now, more fast food chains are upping the ante, by losing their dining rooms. Sonic, anyone? Disconcerting— It is a fact that the war in Ukraine is wreaking havoc on the world’s food supply. But facts—not be confused with truth—are strange things these days. Conspiracy theories can be dangerous, just as dangerous as misinformation. There’s no shortage of either… World Hunger Solution— According to Bill Gates, the answer is technology (unsurprisingly). Given the amount of time and money his foundation has put forth to researching climate change and farming solutions, he should know. But not everyone is behind his “magic seed” solution.
